3.8 for being exact

Not a complicated plot. Ii was expecting to get more of the characters of the previous book, ‘cause in Laurann Dohner’s books there’s always a little feedback about previous characters stories…but here was quite short. Anyway!

So MATING SEASON…you do understand what this is gonna be about given that they are in that kind of season, right?. Have clarified that…let me say that this was like an animalistic version of Romeo and Juliet.

Where Juliet wasn’t even aware she was a Capulet until some Montagues went after her and tried to erased her from the face of the earth only ‘cause she was a walking being …and just when her life is about to end, here comes our Romeo…that only happened to be closed by ‘cause he was supervising his submits…and then BAM!, sync gazes, hot responses, and an instantaneous attraction…that they both,(well, actually more him than her) tried to fight back.

Yeah, this is my version of an animalistic version of Romeo and Juliet without anyone of them getting dead, and they both being sworn enemies, given the fact that they’re a a Wolf and Puma(well, quarter puma, ‘cause she can’t shift). And all that set up in mating season, so they’re gonna spend a lot of time …struggling with some…needs.

Yeah! So… mating season people! Don’t judge me!! They’re the ones that go all like…

As I said before they all go Montague VS Capulet, so there’s gonna be some problems, but even though…

And as expected…there’s always gonna be a HEA at the end of Laurann Dohner’s books.

This one was lovely is not a word that would be lightly use to refer at this kind of book, but somehow it fits.

Yeah, it has lots of sex- way too much for my liking sometimes- but the main plot was never revealed until the very end; unlike almost every single book I've read from Laurann Dohner, here we don't have the usual development: guy meets/saves girl, attraction goes stronger, they go through hot sex, bad guys come to scene and something happens so we jump to the action/adventure part of the book, guy saves girl from bad guys; and finally they realized they are made for each other, they confessed to each other and live happily ever after... until we see them again in the next book of the series......NOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!! that is not what happens in here!!!! nop! considering that I've read almost every single book published from this author- or at least I'm trying.

We do have the guy meeting/saving girl event and of course the whole attraction here the thing is that she is DEFINITELY OUT OF LIMITS under the risk of having his balls yanked out of his body... so under funny circumstances he will have to endure being taunted for her for over two weeks, because from her uncle perspective he wasn't attracted not a tiny bit for her, what makes him the best possible guardian to keep any other male far away from her.

She by the other hand was on vacation looking forward to have fun in anyway, what she couldn´t imagine was that going back to her hometown in that specific time of the year was a very fucking bad idea; because uh uh it was mating season and every single male werewolf was horny as hell, looking for any girl who could appease that urge and having an overprotective uncle; she finds herself lock up inside her house with a handsome man that wouldn´t risk to touch her under the threat of being separated from a very fonding part of himself- two for being specific

Now given the scenario that every single male werewolf was going nuts over the urge to, ehem...have sex what do you think it would be the outcome to put one of them locked inside a house with an attractive and willing woman?; but that's not it, everything goes worse when - ironically- trying to not let himself touch her, he is forced to mark her as his in order to get her safe from the claws of other men-again- and now he is compelled to have sex only with her because, now she has his mark and adding that is mating season, from this point on, things go beyond wild.

The emotional -and very interesting part- comes when he states that he would never take a human woman for a mate and that my dear friends, where all the hell goes loose.

There are no big scenes of action like in Cyborg series or New Species...no! here everything goes around the main couple, and every single phase they go through, because is mating season and the guy can´t stand being away from her even for a more than thirty minutes, so... no big action scenes, not bad guys coming into scene... just a development of a normal- as normal as it can gets- realtionship between two persons that are not quite looking forward to commitment, and that of course doesn't have an inmediate good looking future.

I won't say more, you can actually see that I really liked the book, By the end of the book I was passing every single page like this

So yeah a lot of hot scenes, but with a good plot that drives you crazy over the stupidity of both of them!
