Review: Numbers

Numbers Numbers by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m a huge and faithful fan of NSO, seriously if they were real I would totally doing everything in my power to get a job in Homeland, I’ll be happy just with be their friends =D
Now this is a 2 stories in one single book, but those stories are no shorties at all , in case u were wondering, both stories have complex and developed characters and a plot that would melt your heart.

And as always the sexy scenes…yummy yummy!!! And of course getting to see a lil flash of how the previous NSO are doing…is just like going back to home…yep! They’re like family!!!LOVE U NSO

So here my rev, for 140 & 927

Dana & Mourn

Dana’s a widow that happens to be the sister of one of the doctors that work at Homeland so in order to get a change of scenario she decides to go visit her bro at his work and just take a break of her crazy mom that has take the mission upon herself of getting her daughter a new hubby no matter what & no matter who that person is

So a break?yeah !!! that was in order!!!

When she gets to Homeland, the first one making a big impression of her is Mourn, whose name says it all.

Mourn is also a widower, lost the only mate he ever got by the hands of Mercile and now he has no reason to live for, so he’s always looking the easiest way of getting someone to finish his sorrow.

So these 2 broken hearts will make their own support club, which soon will become someing else in order to find their realseves through the eyes of the person they least expected it.

Dana married her hubby when she was too young, so she was never treated like a real grown up, while Mourn had a mate that didn’t love him, but that was given to him as an experiment from Mercile.

So when these 2 get together….do u think they would be able to mend the pieces of their hearts into a new one?

Candi & Hero

This story made me cry and scream in just a matter of seconds, this is really….argggghhh have no words to describe it.

Candi’s story remindedme a bit of Elle from book 1, Candi has spent all her life being treated like another NSO, when in reality she was a human child, but under that believing she also developed feelings toward her roommate 927, so was no wonder when they thought they were already mated.

But f*cking Mercile always extending their claws to things they shouldn’t ever touched, ruined their lives and futures only in order to get results of an experiment.

Now I don’t recall how many years later, after making them believe that their respective mate were death…they come to find each other at Homeland only to be reminded of the one thing that broke their relationship in a way neither of them never desired.

And now they’re facing every single problem they could ever imagine after Candi’s return and Hero’s past is up to both of them to surpass them all in order to be able to give their relationship another try. After all a lifetime relationship and real love are stronger than all the obstacles that may come.

And add to that all the sexy lessons they are about to learn & enjoy! =D

Oh and one of the females is becoming an erotica writer YAYYYY!

My thoughts?

I will make this quick: I LOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEE THEM

----------------------------------------------------------
LOOOVE IT!
I'm their total groupie, and if this were real I'd gladly drop my nationality and get into Homeland & Reservation.

Oh my God !!! Such an awesome book, I think I went through the whole book just remembering myself how to breath.
Such a touching story, everything related to Darkness brothers, the camp thing, Galina, even the whole thing about him being blood related to Fury... Oh My God!!!! And all the interaction with the young ones... Awwwww Salvation !!!!!!

Review: True (New Species, #11) by Laurann Dohner

BLURB
Jeanie loves a New Species and is willing to pay for that love with pain, tears and heartbreak. She’ll do anything to keep 710 alive but she never wants him to know how she suffered for him. He’s the reason for her mission in life—freeing others like him. True has a new life working with the NSO to rescue his people. A good life, until he encounters a dying woman—the female who betrayed him. True should feel gratified that she’s finally going to pay for her crimes, but she claims to be a victim too. He is still irresistibly drawn to the pretty little human who touched his heart and made him want her. When he clasps her hand to offer comfort, his instincts kick in and True will fight everyone to protect her.
MY REVIEW True (New Species, #11)True by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really can't tell which one of all these is my favorite, I can't get tired of saying I LOVE EVERY ONE OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay here the new thing is that, at first she is actually being really hated, and every single New Species believes she is really the bad guy , so that is pretty interesting and the way how she is gonna have to go through things is really scary!!!
And OMG !!! Speaking of sacrifices for love .... The ine she does for True... It really breaks my heart. Another thing I found amusing is the reappearance of a character from the very first book, And one that I thought I wouldn't be watching in anytime soon... And the way how every thing linked.... I really love this author , she gives us suspense, action, drama , laughs romance, erotica and love, I can't think of a great number of books that gives us all those feelings at the same time as these one does.
I love them , believe it or not I do, and I'm not getting tired of saying it.
True and Jeanie you are definitely between my top ones in this series!!!!

Review:Moon (New Species, #10) by Laurann Dohner

BLURB
Dr. Joyce Yards has never met anyone as irresistible as 466. Their therapy sessions are growing hotter, his raw sexual hunger becoming aggressive, and he refuses to discuss anything except the possibility of getting her naked. Joy understands the dire consequences if she indulges her passion. It will break her heart but she must walk away. Moon has been drugged, his memory shattered, and he’s now little more than feral, a dangerous threat to everyone. In their need for help, the NSO doctors turn to the only female Moon ever cared about—the one who left him behind two years ago. Moon isn’t the same male Joy once knew. There are no rules now. If sex tames the wild beast and triggers his fractured memories, allowing him moments of lucidity, then Joy will give him everything, body and soul. She’ll do whatever it takes to save him—even at the cost of her own life.
MY REVIEW Moon (New Species, #10)

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Definitely one of my top 5 in this series.
I don't even know where to begin, the narrative itself was really awesome, it really takes the reader through a big part of the journey that Species went when they were freed, making Moon going from present to past and through all his was greatttt! Besides making them have more interaction with the outside world, I mean outside of Homeland , it was definitely awesome, besides of its dutiful dose of pranks and LOL times.
Sexy and arousing as always and fucking interesting with all the adrenaline that a reader goes through the entire time.
Joy!! Okay , I believe this is my second favorite heroine after Jessie, come on there hasn't been any other like her , he he.
I don't know what to say, is just a fucking good book!!! Has it all, suspense, action , romance , erotica and each book really makes you feel like watching a movie about the entire family. Besides you hot to know a little bit more about every other single character from the old books.
Come on ! Here it is when the manual of mating and falling in live with a human will be written !

Review: Shadow (New Species #9) by Laurann Dohner

BLURB
Beauty resents being labeled Gift Species. Everyone is way too overprotective, males aren’t even allowed to speak to her and so far true freedom eludes her. Then a big, sexy Species officer mistakes her for the enemy and takes her to the ground. Shadow is dumbfounded. He has a Gift pinned under him—a big no-no. But Beauty is fascinated and wants to know Shadow a lot better. She is full of newly discovered, unrequited passion and he’s just what she needs to satisfy her curiosity. For Shadow, sex means pain and revulsion. For Beauty, it was enslavement and ridicule. Two lonely souls who have never known a lover’s touch, together in a cabin in the woods. Each touch, every discovery brings them closer to a life they never thought possible…beyond even their dreams.
MY REVIEW Shadow (New Species, #9)Shadow by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I'm in love , I'm in love , i know I might have said that biforme, but it's true!!! I really don't know how this author can actually make me fall in love every single time i read one of the books in this series. Ahhhhh!!!
It's really amazing that I'm Washington for this series never getting to an end.
It is such a good story , and the first one involving only species mating it was greatttt!!!
Shadow, wow! Looks like he had an easy time than Wrath, concerning to all his abused time with the machines and the sex issues. Even though the story was more centered in Beauty , which by the way was great as well.
I love both of them i really enjoyed the development of Beauty's courage and how she actually showed everyone that she was not well AT ALL!!!
And. Getting more into the narrative of this book, I really apreciaTe that wasn't the typical getting-the-female-kidnaped thing!!! I was kind of getting bored of that, so it had it's good dose of action and adrenaline.
I have no complaiNs about this book, i love every single part of it , no too steamier and full of hot scenes as the Other ones, but even though ... Fucking great !!

Review: Obsidian (New Species, #8) by Laurann Dohner

BLURB
Book 8 in the New Species series. Dr. Allison Baker is obsessed with saving the comatose New Species male. She has tried everything and there's only one option left. Alli will break every rule and put her life in danger by tempting 880 to wake, using only her feminine scent and touch. She just has to kidnap him and crawl into bed with him to make it work. 880 wakes in a different world with a small female who's been sleeping beside him, caressing him and wrapping her sweet body around his, teasing his senses. He lies silent and still, listening and evaluating each arousing touch, fighting his body's reaction. Hatred flares when he discovers she's human, but Mercile stole everything from him so he decides it's fair to take her in return. But things quickly change and he wants her at his side and in his bed. 880 has chosen a new name-Obsidian-the personification of dark and dangerous. He'll fight them all to keep Alli. No one will stand in his way.
MY REVIEW Obsidian (New Species, #8)

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Okay, a lot of great things going around in this book. There is a little more interaction of the old characters in this book than any other number before this one, and finally I didn't read any incident about bad crazy guys against NSO... No kidnappings, no threats, no tests, no facilities. Don't get me wrong that gives you a good dose of adrenaline while reading it but kind of makes you a bit of sad; anyway the plot in this one was way too different.
It's a completely refreshing LOVE story, it really is, and makes me laugh like no other, well most of it due to secondary characters like Darkness, which by the way I believe he should have chosen another name suitable with his funny and carefree character hehe, but of course that's only after the little what I've read.
I love Alli as much as Obsidian, terrific couple, both of them crazy and brave, and Alli wow! Completely going overboard about what was better to Obsidian, but really really doing crazy things due to that.
I don't know about the author, but I really admire how she can make us fall un love of each single character that brings to live in every single book! Really there hasn't been no one in all the book in the series so far that I haven't fell in love with. And no one of her stories so far has made me even bored , well maybe the first ones where there were a lot of kidnappings against to NSO members, but that was the series 's context so...
I really do hope there are a lot of books coming, I want to know the story of Brass, Flame, Ven, Jericho and Darkness even about Breeze!!!
Such a great, touching and funny story; free of mistreating new species , at least for once!!!!
I hope to hear more about this couple in the future books as well if Tammy and Valiant, I believe that's the only couple if the first books that I haven't read a reappearance except for son kind of little reference to them, but nothing more. Oh anyway , talking too much here; so great plot , hot scenes , funny tantrums and jokes and just loved it!

Review: Tiger (New Species, #7) by Laurann Dohner

BLURB
Book 7 in the New Species series. Zandy's had too much to drink and is in the wrong place at the wrong time. She knows she's going to die. When next her eyes open, a beautiful man-creature is holding her in his arms. He's just too tempting to resist; her very own fallen angel. She wraps herself around his body, determined to have him. But when this angel turns out to be flesh and blood, reality crashes in-she's seducing a New Species. Tiger's shock quickly turns to intense passion when the human female kisses him, despite the fact she's trying to get his clothes off while he's engaged in a task force operation. He's also made it clear he'll never take a mate. Rather difficult when he and Zandy can't keep their hands off each other. The taste and feel of his little human just leaves Tiger wanting more. Publisher's Note: While each New Species book is a standalone, the greatest enjoyment will come from reading them in series order.
MY REVIEW Tiger (New Species, #7)Tiger by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Okay I don't know if it's because I'm already used to the hot scenes or anything, but kind of the ones IN here were kind of soft in comparison to the first books hehe, but it did had a lot of them

Review: Wrath (New Species, #6) by Laurann Dohner

BLURB
Wrath volunteers to live and work outside Homeland, where he'll once again be confined in a small space with other males. He was subjected to horrific abuse and conditioning and forced to view endless sex tapes of human females while chained to Mercile's perverted machines. Wrath knows he's too dangerous and emotionally damaged to ever be with a female. Lauren has just been detained by three big, buff, well-armed men-New Species. One of them really catches her eye. He's tall, sexy and . . . her new roommate, apparently. Having never met a man this spectacular, she decides to taste every inch of his amazing body. Wrath is definitely open to that plan. The sex is incredible and he gives her everything she needs-but he'll only go so far. Something is holding him back. Lauren has to make him unleash his desire and Wrath has to get past his fear if the couple wants any chance at a future together. Publisher's Note: While each New Species book is a standalone, the greatest enjoyment will come from reading them in series order.
MY REVIEW Wrath (New Species, #6)Wrath by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Okay not so touching at all, and not quite a lot I've imagined when I knew it was about 919, I suppose I was expecting something more...extreme or painful I guess.
I have to acknowledge that their first encounter was kind of traumatic- I mean hello!! They were acting like some huge thugs!!and with their size...OMG!I'd be running right to the opposite way and not getting onto the Stockholm syndrome!!!-but what happens after is totally great, as always they clicked immediately, but at least took it slowly- at least not for Wrath in the shower

Review: Brawn (New Species, #5) by Laurann Dohner

BLURB
One look at Brawn and Becca is wondering how he’d look without his clothes. Brawn is instantly attracted to Becca but has sworn never to touch a human female. They just aren’t sturdy enough and he likes his sex a little rough. He is shocked to learn he’ll be living with her when she refuses to leave her home. He is there to represent New Species and to learn about humans so maybe this will be a good educational experience. He just has to keep his hands off her. His good intentions go astray when they are kidnapped and locked together inside a cage. Brawn finds himself reliving a nightmare when he is once again subjected to breeding experiments at the hands of New Species’ enemies. They will use Becca to get what they want from him. Brawn will do everything he can to protect her but they only have each other to depend on while trying to survive.
MY REVIEW Brawn (New Species, #5)Brawn by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Awwww, I think this is the sweetest one so far in the series, even though the beginning was traumatic, but ... Everything that comes after the hard time was totally worth it, it IS a great story.
At least the characters didn't jump into sex since the very beginning, which actually was something new in this series; always starting with attraction , casual sex- I guess-developing feelings, mating and happy family ,of course with the great dose of horrible and fearful situations in the middle. And that was great.
I looooove reading a few stuffs of the older characters, it's really awesome and it helps a lot to get into the whole NSO world. I can't stop myself from laughing over Slade and Trisha, they are just great.
Oh yeah I already want to get over Tiger's history!!!!!
And yep! This is the sweetest until now, at least!

Review: Justice (New Species, #4) by Laurann Dohner

BLURB
Justice North is the face of New Species. Seeing him up close makes Jessie's heart race. He's the ultimate alpha male-big, muscular, exotically beautiful...and dangerous. Of course he's off limits. But then the sexy man purrs and all bets are off. Jessie Dupree is a mouthy, fiery human female who brings out the animal in Justice. She wants to show him how to relax, and he's all for anything she wants to do, but Justice has sworn to protect his people and to take a Species mate. He's torn between the woman he wants and the oath he's taken. Jessie knows a relationship between them probably won't end well; heartbreak is inevitable. But that won't stop her from freeing the wildness inside Justice and spending every moment she can steal wrapped around his hot body, making him roar with passion. Reader Advisory: Each New Species book may be read as a standalone, but we suggest reading them in order to get the most enjoyment from the series.
MY REVIEW Justice (New Species, #4)

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I LOVE IT! I love him , I love her , I love them !!!!
I loved the whole story , it was a really good plot , and the way it develops it really good.
Most part of the book it was like reading a guide about how to deal with super jealous boyfriends and believe me , that was great; and then ... The claiming awwww!!! , that was really exciting hahaha , then the whole thing about the problems they had - it was really detailed - and the way she was overprotective after that, I believe the author couldn't create q better mate for this character.
I loved the whole story!
Highly recommended!

Review: Valiant (New Species, #3) by Laurann Dohner

BLURB
Book 3 in the New Species series. Tammy has always tried to be prepared for any calamity life might send her way but she never imagined a sexy, lion man-beast in her future. He's huge, got the most exotic, golden cat-eyes she's ever seen, and she's so terrified she's speechless for the first time in her life. He's stalking closer, growling at her, and she's too terrified to even flee. Valiant hates humans. But when he gets a whiff of the adorable human female who has invaded his territory, he starts rethinking. Her fear scents of pure, sweet temptation and the closer he gets, the more appealing she becomes. Once he's got his hands on her, he isn't about to let her go. One thought will change his life. MINE! Before Tammy can regain her senses, she's flat on her back in Valiant's bed. Now he just has to use every inch of his big, buff body to convince her that she should stay with him forever. Reader Advisory: While this book may be read as a standalone, the background story is best enjoyed when the books in this series are read in sequential order.
MY REVIEW Valiant (New Species, #3)Valiant by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Looks like I'm getting addicted to this serie. It's kind of a lot of sweet and a lot of action movie thought as well. I never get bored while reading it. And it's great to get some little hints about the couples from past books.
I really can't stop myself from reading them , such a great story!
I'm still Fury's team hahaha.

Review: Slade (New Species, #2) by Laurann Dohner

BLURB
Book 2 in the New Species series. The books can be read as stand-alone stories, but it is advisable to read them in order to get the most enjoyment from the series. Dr. Trisha Norbit is flat on her back in a hospital bed, pinned under a really big New Species male. Though drugged out of his mind, he promises her ecstasy and is determined to deliver—but hospital staff intervenes. 215 is a man Trisha will never forget. But, when she meets him again at Homeland…he doesn’t even remember her! The nosy new doctor wants to know all about the breeding habits between humans and Species. Slade proposes a hands-on education but she’s not interested in a one-night stand. He can’t offer more because he’s haunted by the memory of a woman he once tried to claim. He’s shocked when he realizes they are one and the same. He’s blown it—she’ll never give him a chance now. But, when her life is in danger, he’s the only one who can save her. As they flee through the wilderness, their desire ignites and cannot be denied. Hot sex, on the run, has consequences that are even more dangerous and will change their lives forever. Reader Advisory: There is a scene of an attempted rape.
MY REVIEW Slade (New Species, #2)Slade by Laurann Dohner

Funny and kind l of scary. Was definitely a complete fiction story, but I enjoyed a hell of a lot.
I loved the whole thing love/hate relationship m and I'm really expecting Brass's, Harley's and Moon's story reaaalllllyyyy SOON!
And I hope reading about Trisha's baby soon enough in the next book !
The whole thing in the woods, was like watching a whole predator movie hahaha and I'm not a big fan of it- I was a child when that movie came up- anyway I'm starting to love the way the author describe every different scenario.

MY REVIEW Fury (New Species, #1)Fury by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OMG!!!! And it's confirmed once again : You definitely can't judge a book by its cover or title!!!!
I love ❤ Fury and Justice, and Tiger and Slade.

I loved the whole story, come on I could stop myself from reading since the very beginning! It kept me crying, bursting in rage, laughing and also afraid. Wow I believe this is my first fiction - romance book! I never thought I would like one of those.
Fury it's a story that keeps you thinking and you can't stop yourself from growing into concern or even compassion to all the NSO characters, and without the storyline , this just gives you what to think because there's no new for anyone that the human race could be reaaalllly cruel and some of those stuffs have already been inflicted on others.
Ok maybe too much emotional, let's just say that's a really good story!
I love it! I hope that the rest of the books be a little similar to this one !
