Review: Hush

Hush Hush by E.K. Blair
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Okay let's start with something possitive okay?

I love this series since the first book came out, I've waited like a year to get the third book in my hands, I went to the freaking extense of buying a personalized silver lotus necklace, 'cause ..let's face it: the first book does make honor to the real meaning of that flower....but all of this , all of IT I'm saying it to show how fucking much I LOVED this book!!!!

description

description

Now I won't butcher this book 'cause it doesn't deserve it!
It was a GOOD BOOK! not a great book, not what I expected!, but wasn't bad either....until we got to the very end, of course

description

A few pages less, seriously just a few pages less and everything would have gone great! Leave us ,the readers, to wonder what the hell would have happened...but not like this, pleaaaaaaaaaaseeeee!

because I feel like:

Instead of life it would go The epilogue, though.

I frankly don't understand it.

Anyway here are the good things:

D&E:

A New Design

A New Design

and of course now, that their relationship was more cimented they can now saY:

A New Design

I don't think I have another thing to say, but that was a good book! it made me cry in a few -2- chapters, touches a soft spot on my heart, wishing that Elizabeth wouldn't have won the bad Karma prize :

description

this could easily have been said for her.

And Her dad, okay...that was an answer but come on!! (view spoiler) so when you talk about the queen of drama and bad karma, you know where to look for.

All in all: i liked it but NOT the epilogue. just NOT

-------------------------------------------------------

I feel a bit mad, and that's being subtle.

I was waiting a lot for this book and yeah it was not what I expected, but was acceptable!
But one page just one single freaking page and everything would have gone extremely well: JUST ONE PAGE LESS
Believe me when I tell you that you wouldn't have like to see me at the end of the book. I'm gonna have to get a gif to give u an idea of what I was screaming while sending daggers to my e-reader

oh anyway we're all just paseenger on the author's crazy journey through her mind.

rev to com.
PS.I stay with book 1 & 2. just that.

Review:Echo (Black Lotus #2) by E.K. Blair

BLURB
It's been said the longest echo ever measured lasted 75 seconds, but I can assure you, this will last much longer. The bang deafened the world around me, muting everything into nullity, allowing the reflection of its destruction to live far beyond its intended life. It will follow me forever, destroying me—destroying you. You want answers? So do I.
MY REVIEW Echo (Black Lotus, #2)

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh my god! Oh my god! I'm undoubtedly in love with this author,I believe I would start a blog only to talk about of this series!! I haven't read any other series from this author besides of this one, but seriously i'll definitely will reorganize my time in order to start reading every single one of them.
Okay about this book, seriously I don't have words, is definitely a 5 stars book, it really is. The teaser finds very difficult to get itselfseparated from this book, the story is so dark, and mysterious and the relationship between Declan and Elizabeth ... OMG OMG OMG!!!
Looks, like I'm,totally into dark erotica already!!! This one made me remember Caleb from Dark Duet.... And that one is one of,my lovely favorites.
But this book is not actually about Erica is more about the feelings and emotions of humans brings, how weak we all are in some perspective, how we face our limits and how we deal with them. Is not only sex, is way more beyond that!!!! And that's a reason why I love it.
The author thanked is to get into the darkness of her head, but I feel more like there no need of thanks, this story is a heLl of a trip, and it also has some valuable services for life, I'd you read carefully!
I don't know what else to say,I live this book and I can't barely wait to get my hands in Hush Hush!!!
And also after everything's the characters went through this book, I'd love to read a little bit more about their time already together... But hey!!! That was a heck of a cliffhanger.. If the one is alive is the only person that Elizabeth can't stop herself from thinking of!!! And they would be........ Wow

Review: Bang (Black Lotus #1) by E.K. Blair

FYI:  I f*cking LOVE this book!! I just don't have enough words to talk about it; and my heart aches and breaks every single time I think of it.

BLURB
They say when you take revenge against another you lose a part of your innocence. But I’m not innocent. I haven’t been for a very long time. My innocence was stolen from me. Taken was the life I was supposed to have. The soul I was born with. The ruby heart embedded in a life full of hopes and dreams. Gone. Vanished. I never even had a choice. I mourn that life. Mourn the what-ifs. Until now. I’m ready to take back what was always meant to be mine. But every plan has a fatal flaw. Sometimes it’s the heart. **Due to the dark and explicit nature of this book, it is recommended for mature audiences only as some scenes may be particularly disturbing.**
MY REVIEW Bang (Black Lotus, #1)Bang by E.K. Blair
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OH MY GOD!!!
So much pain, so much sorrow... The good narrative of this book really allowed me to feel truly immersed in the story, the reader can actually be there with Elizabeth through all her painful past.
It's a great story with an overdose of suspense, and the memories of Carnegie and Elizabeth's dad are the most touching in the book together with the realization of the influence of Pike in Elizabeth's present, I mean how can anyone let go of the past if you're always to its side? .
It was a good story, I still can't believe that Declan is death, I'm 90% sure, though, that somehow he's not; but I'm guessing that every fan mud be thinking the same way.
Pike's story is really painful as well since the very beginning til the very end, he didn't find his redemption Elizabeth did, with Declan, but he only focused himself in Elizabeth as something else ,while she just couldn't share the same feelings with him... I'd really have loved to see him finding some kind of salvation in somewhere else.
About Bennett, I don't have so much to say,,is presented like a secondary character most than anything else, I guess one can find him like a husband whose wife have being unfaithful to him , nut nothing else beyond the fact that he was already suspicious of Elizabeth whereabouts.
And Declan , ok since the very first moment he exudes"Dom", a tender one I suppose, and as every book with BDSM involved says, those kind of relationships always required trust, so it didn't came as a shock when she realized that she was actually in love with him. But her story, all the hell that she went through, all the fucked up relationship with her brother, which leads him to believe he was Actually in love of her, the murder of her baby... Wow! It just breaks your heart.
You can't read this book without shred a tear, at least me.
It's a REAAAAAAALLY good story !!!
I can't wait to read th next one. Declan and Pike surely have to cone back someway, Declan in order to fave the real Elizabeth and Pike in order to revenge otle to attain Elizabeth back.
Somehow!.
