mmmmm, I guess I'm pretty much into the Shakespeare´s version, so I was hoping that in some kind of way - I mean there's a lot of parallel dimensions in this story- Romeo and Juliet could actually stayed together!!

So it was well known-since book one- that Romeo would stay with Rosaline, so this book is definitely a crazy way to put Romeo together in the path which would lead him to her, So when we have Miss Little Mermaid in scene, is already Know that she would be in somehow of way , Rosaline. As at the end was.

It was a good teenagers story , but nothing beyond that!, the whole madness about ambassadors, mercenaries, changing bands, traveling in time, rotting bodies, the miraculously Juliet's tomb scape, and the freaking me-Rosaline, me-Ariel all in the same head was in my humble words,, like a desperate attempt to get the happy ending for Romeo.

I would give it one star, but what can I say ? I did enjoy the first one!

So if you ask me!, no,I really wasn't thrilled with this one, definitely giving the first one to my nieces, it has a more solid background than a twisting changing of everything in order to get Romeo happy.

MMM, not sure yet about this one, pretty weird with the first thing about Shakespeare's job being a lie and that the most famous couple of lover of all the times were in their own worl war III, and in the top of that living for more than 700 years, so ... that was pretty much awkward, but hey ! it's a book, so I can take it.

The story itself kept me quite interested, about the whole thing related to a Juliet that wasn't quite believing in love as we thought , and finding out that Romeo was the bad of the tale... okay if the guy just killed me and tried to do so over and over again... of course I wouldn't want him any more than 1 million feet near me, so that's understandable.

The whole thing about ambassadors and mercenaries... mmm okay I buy it, not to mention that their origins are not so clear yet.

But I can say that the 80% of the book is more about a conventional teenagers relationship, a friend falling in love of her best friend's "special friend".

And the 20% divided by the half in the action motion between good and evil , and Juliet torn apart between Romeo and ta tarata : Benvolio.

So I don't really know what to say, but I admit that kept me quite interested in it. I mean I devour the whole book in a couple of hours.
