Review: Quintessentially Q

Quintessentially Q Quintessentially Q by Pepper Winters
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When I read Tears of Tess I can frankly say that it wasn’t quite shocking for me…I mean it was one more dark romance novel…a couple that gets to meet each other in the most unwelcomed circumstances and they both find strength in each other…so much they found love. Nothing new there
But this one… this book… shows different aspects of their relationship just as the weaknesses and strengths, and fears from each other as individuals…all surrounded by a preposterous scenario.
So Q? the great Q Mercer has finally found his Achilles heel…Tess, and he no longer knew what to do about her…how to behave around her…how to even exist around her.

He was more than afraid about how to deal with his new feelings.

Putting on doubt every single thing that until that day made him Q

But even though he was doubting them, he still couldn’t get rid of his fear and anguish of the new beating of his heart.

While sweet Tess embraced fondly her new self, embracing her feelings… the ones she had toward Q…but at the same time, without an anchor to keep her settled…she couldn’t stop herself from… fearing…

Even though she still was trying, trying to get through everything…

And embracing each other completely…That was Tess’s gift

But unfortunately, the world wasn’t ready to give them the time to make those feelings work out; because suddenly, when they weren’t least expecting it…the monsters strike back once again…

description

Making them face new fears and threats

description

Now trying to find themselves one more time again.

description

Making even the impossible and the greatest of sacrifices, pushing their own fears aside in order to be together one more time…

So have you ever wonder what if there’s no HEA at the end of a tale?, or if that tale wasn’t a beautiful one…but you’d still finding yourself leaning into the book wanting to get into it and hold the hand of the characters… have you ever wonder what is to read a book like that and feel your heart break? Well if that’s what you’ve felt...then ….you should totally hear this advice:

---------------------------------------------------------
I'm too stunned like to try to write something beyond this right now.
Til this day there's only been 2 books that made me cry of an unbearable sadness and made going into nurderer mode:

* Bang by E.k. Blair
* Beast by Jaden Wilkes

But Oh my God!! these chapter made me cry from bloody rage as I haven't done in while and that pure love that Q was capable of offering to her....oh my! who the fuck needs Romeo & Juliet? ...no offense to Shakespeare, but shit!! if a couple can go trough all of that and came back to mend each other wounds, refuse to die and stand once more on their own feet....seriously I think we should rethink that last part of the play where it said that R&J was the MOST tragic love story never told.
Seriously no offense to Shakespeare, he was the reason I started to read. XD

This book is now sharing a piece of my hear together with the 2 before mentioned...so much that I'm considering making me a tattoo about them...

Ican say no more, seriously or I'll end up rattling a lot of things, just so you know...I went to bed at 4 am and woku up at 8am to keep reading this!
