My rating: 4 of 5 stars
As a reader you have the privilege to get into the shoes of different characters and go through different journeys, by the pages of a book…but it’s not always that you can actually make a connection with these books characters.
But I can tell you that this is NOT the case!
Even though this is a love story, this is also a story about life…how a person reaches an age where she debates between keep being a little girl, where everything she has to do to obtain what she needs is to follow the rules or… just be …hersef.
All of this by the hand of her real love
A love story sparkled with so many things from nowadays culture that you can easily consider her like one your girls… one of your friends, the ones with who you tell everything and anything and just pass the time laughing out loud of every single thing you see fit.
It isn’t because I don’t want my best friend to be happy, because I do. I just want her to be happy with someone else.
And also quite honest as well. Hey! You’d still love them though
This book is like a little guide to show you the path to your real self…if you have ever be afraid of show the world the real you, and have been punished to recluse inside of you for so long that you no longer remind who you really are…then you’re abou to discover a great fan of opportunites alongside Helena
And of course, not all the things that Helena will find are pleasant to discover…but are worthed
Now, did I say it was like a guide?…here’s why:
So, you can pretty much said I loved it
If you ask me, why 4 stars?...I’d say that I was waiting a better development at the end, I mean after everthing we’ve been through in this journey…I was expecting… more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I would have rated it 5 , but the epilogue left me with more unanswered questions rather than anything else.
But to make it quick: LOVED IT
Full rev to come!
