Based on the title I thought I would end up crying…which didn’t happen at all.
What I can’t deny was that this story reminded me too much of :Disfigured Love by Georgia Le Carre and Beast by Jaden Wilkes(I suppose that is ‘cause the themes were very much… the same)But the characters, just as persons, are all different in their own unique way.
So getting into the book. Let’s see…
Tess Snow, AKA: Tessie
A lovely 20yr old girl who tries to fit in her boyfriend’s idea of normalcy…what has made her encage her own self…’causing that all her dirty little desires make nothing more but to create a great pent up sexual tension since a veeeery long time.
In other words?...b>not being honest with herself and living a so unsatisfied life; and not having the courage to go find what she really needs, but given that she doesn’t come from a strong background(unloved by her family and no real friends)…she’s afraid of losing her tiny bit of happiness with her boyfriend.
He treated me like glass. Special cut-crystal-placed me on a pedestal where I had to shine and remain dust free and perfect.
Quincy Mercer, AKA: Q
A French billionaire that tries to redeemed himself from his father wrongs by doing right to every woman in distress that comes into his path, (Or that at least he can manage to…well, buy)
A sorrowful soul that can’t bare what’s always been inside of him… doing nothing but growing stronger and stronger every single time, fighting for the need to go free… (which apparently wasn’t very good)… until he comes to …Tess, the only woman who will be his ruin and his salvation… his everything
Tess Snow, AKA: Esclave
Basically is the very same Tess, but needed to do a difference…’cause really? They’re 2 are different.
Tess esclave is the fierce and blood thirsty version of Tess… (what were you expecting after going through a traumatic episode as kidnapping and women trafficking? ). But not just that! Tess, the Esclave was actually the real Tess, the whole complete Tess, the one that embraces her soft and weak parts of herself as much as her fierce for life and pain, the love to fight until she gets what she wants… the real her!!... I hope I letting myself explain. XD She’s the one without any inhibitions

you could say is Tess 2.0 XD
This Tess is the one that reborns from the torments inflicted on her during her time with Q, this is the one that embraces all her darkness together with the one of her master, even though she wasn’t about to doing it willingly.
Now that we’ve made acquaintances with the main characters…lets focus about the story, all right?
A heads up?...the internal monologues of the character… their own analysis are beautifully written!
I don’t want to make spoilers so… making it short?...Tess was dragged out of her comfy life by force, and in order to get what she really needed and wanted, needed to find the real she…all that while she was in a battle of wills with her new master Q.
Would I have reacted this way for any man who bought me? Or was Q different? An unwilling aphrodisiac to my sinful body.
A master she despised with all her might, but who also gave her what she have always craved for.
And one, that even if she didn’t plan it,would get to care for…
Q needed someone who matched his darkness, waged the same between pleasure and pain.We were so similar, yet he never let me get close to show him.
So yeah they both had darkness inside each one of them… but if we’re focusing on practical…everything reduced to this:
You know is not good to refrain yourself, people!!
So final thoughts?… two lost souls, unable to function right in this world, without their other half…a half that completed them… that makes each one of them …WHOLE. No matter how dark, sick or twisted they think themselves are…they just weren’t whole until they reached each other in this galaxy.
