Review: The Game Plan

BLURB
Spend the next 40 years in prison or break her lease early? Normally she’d be able to say that this one was a no-brainer, but things have definitely changed since she was forced to move in across the hall from Danny Bradford. A lot of things…… She wanted to get through one day, just ONE day without Danny Bradford doing something to test the limits to her control, but with that damn smile of his and his habit of leaving her contemplating manslaughter, she didn’t see that happening anytime soon. He loved his family, but some days……. It was too much, but that was okay, because his small neighbor living across the hallway provided him with endless hours of entertainment. Not on purpose of course, but did it really matter as long she made him smile?
MY REVIEW The Game Plan

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Not as funny as I thought it would be
Being honest with the saga, this book wasn’t remotely close to be as fun as any of the preview books in it, not as many pranks as I’d love and even the characters themselves already knew how that would end; but I think that was funny as well- I mean the cousins already knew she would be his future wife, right?- I’d like to read a more detailed prank war to at least have myself a little LOL time.
That story itself, as I said before wasn’t so funny; the only constant part of it was that the heroine was constantly out of herself due to bad reactions to medicine- that was unreal and hilarious as well.
Something that didn´t describe at perfection was the reason of her nickname-because if someone tells me that is due to her height, that really is not fair.
The guy – as any other Bradford guy- was dreamy and yummy-come one! It was an ex marine! - but really I would like to read more about the pranks, the only actual pranks that he got to do – and only because it happened that he was close by – were the one with Zoe’s food and the one in the library with the kids, the rest were when they were already together, and not a big deal.
Okay enough of that, what is this book about? As always a Bradford guy making a hell of a life to his neighbor next door. Remember Trevor from book 2? Okay, he is now a happy married – with Zoe of course – and hot daddy- literally – who now rents apartments to people – more specify – to his cousin and some people, because Zoe is so generous. And yeah a Residence where is more than one Bradford promise to be a living war zone, but for a girl who is currently saving every penny to pay a debt left by his fucking asshole of ex fiancé; is something that she is resigned to deal with, except for the crazy pranks – go figure what? - of a certain neighbor that goes out of his way only to make her live more miserable than already is. The thing is, even if she wants to kill him, and spend all his money paying her defense attorney she also finds him very hot, and soon more.
So the heroe here, an injured ex marine, whose life is being more than watched out by his family in order to get him a happy life- which he is actually pretty sick of it, but how can make a concerned family stop at it ? who knows? – what he only wants is a woman to share his life with; the thing is that he doen’t find someone that fits in that description and in top of that his family seems pretty focus in giving that tittle to his little neighbor, why?, that goes beyond him! Until a really gross incident with Zoe’s food, Trevor’s mistake, a hot and cold shower- really needed to counterattack an infection – will in mere seconds change that perspective.
So the game plan? taking everything slow and making her fall in love with him so deep that she wouldn’t be able to see another man on the earth beyond him…. The thing here is , like not everything turns out the way you planned them.
I should say that as any other book in the series, it is too sweet! So yeah I enjoyed it, I only would love to read more pranks to have a LOL time, and the hot scenes, remember taking everything slowly? Well he did stick to his word in every letter- I mean just look this question :
“What feels better, f*cking you with my fingers or my tongue?.”
and that was only phase one in his game plan.
He wanted what his cousins had, he realized with a groan. He wanted Jodi to look at him the way that his cousin’s wives looked at them. He wanted someone waiting for him when he came home at the end of the day, someone to hold in his arms at night to fight off memories that were left forgotten, and he wanted that someone to be his Tinkerbell

Oh also , it was about a family, having a real family that is always there for you and have your back and gets worried about your wellbeing as for who could possibly hurt you – gnoing to the extent to get your girlfriend wanted to dig a whole and go to China out of fear- it was so unbelievable ; but then again I guess that actually must be families like that out there, right? –
